Dr. Niedermaier launches Fermented Skincare and rethinks microbiome care
- Dr. Niedermaier Pharma is launching a new skincare line that specifically strengthens the skin microbiome and supports regeneration processes.
- Nature-based high-performance care comprises seven synergistic products. Each product contains 20% of Dr. Niedermaier's patented Regulatessenz®.
- From October 23, 2025, Fermented Skincare will be available in the online shop and in selected stationary retailers.
Hohenbrunn, October 2025 — Stress, environmental toxins and an unbalanced diet disrupt the skin's balance. Irritations, acne or atopic dermatitis are visible consequences. The new Dr. Niedermaier system care is specifically aimed at the deep-acting regeneration of the skin structure. By adding essential ingredients, the line supports the skin's natural balance and sustainably promotes its resistance.
The focus is on targeted protection and strengthening of the skin's protective barrier through pre- and post-biotics, the supply of key building blocks such as ceramides and membrane lipids, the use of high-quality moisturizers and protection against free radicals.
The seven products can be used individually or in combination:
- Gentle Cleansing Foam: Delicate cleansing foam with micellar technology for deep pore cleansing; 150ml, RRP: 31.90€
- Fermented Refreshing Facial Tonic: Mineralizing facial toner for finer pores; 150ml, RRP: 31.90€
- Fermented Lifting Serum: Smoothing serum with immediate effect for more elasticity;
- Fermented Hydra Day Cream: Moisturizing day cream with anti-pollution protection; 50ml, RRP: 54.90€
- Fermented Repair Night Cream: Night cream with ceramide complex for regeneration; 50ml, RRP: 54.90€
- Fermented Firming Eye Cream: Eye care to tighten and reduce fine lines; 15ml, RRP: 54.90€
- Fermented Extra Rich Cream: Intensive care to strengthen elastin and collagen production. 50ml, RRP: 59.90€

Regulatessenz®, fermentation technology and selected active ingredients in focus
At the heart of the line is Regulatessenz® — a fermented active ingredient elixir made from 17 fresh, natural ingredients such as fruit, vegetables and nuts.
It is produced during cascade fermentation, a special, patented process in three stages. The ingredients are processed in such a way that the body can absorb them particularly well. At the same time, the natural balance of the skin and intestinal microbiome is supported.
In addition to the prebiotic Regulatessenz®, each product contains post-biotics from inulin (chicory root) and sunroot. Together, this creates the valuable pre- and post-biotics complex. Other active ingredients included:
- Fermented pea protein — to soothe the skin
- Hyaluronic acid 3-D complex — for long-lasting moisture
- Organic shea butter, organic avocado oil & organic sunflower oil — to strengthen the skin barrier
- Squalane — to protect against transepidermal water loss
- Antioxidants — to protect against free radicals
Fermented Skincare is dermatologically tested. The products are manufactured in Germany to the highest standards and are free from PEGs, mineral oils, dyes and preservatives, and parabens.
